A group with variable life-histories, ranging from the colonial wax (Galleria, Achroia) and bee moths (Aphomia), which are pests in the nests of social Hymenoptera, to stored product pests and the coastal moss specialist, Melissoblaptes zelleri, which feeds on Brachythecium albicans.
