A sub-family of the Pyralidae
Background to Family
 
The Scopariinae are relatively poorly known. Most larvae feed on mosses or lichens, others on the roots of herbaceous plants. The small, greyish adults are camouflaged at rest, on tree-trunks, rocks and walls.
