Seven aphids with parthenogenetic, live-bearing females. Hosts are trees in the Betulaceae and Fagaceae, while some non-native species occur on orchids in protected cultivation. Ant-attendance is common.

Data currently unassessed by a specialist for changes in nomenclature, new species to the British list, new interactions, errors in original sources, and misspellings.; The Thelaxidae is now treated as a sub-family (Thelaxinae) of the Aphididae (Blackman & Eastop, 1994). Hormaphis has been moved into the Hormaphidinae (Aphididae).;
