Description
Background to Family	The members are predominantly associated with decaying wood in broadleaved and coniferous trees, although the family includes stored product pests. The Woodworm (Anobium punctatum) and Death watch beetle (Xestobium rufovillosum) are notorius species damaging furniture and timber.
